Job Purpose:

The HR Director is responsible for overseeing executive HR decisions regarding policies, practices, strategies, and best practices. S/he is a step up in the hierarchy than HR managers of FTO and must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. S/he should be able to manage programs while possessing a strong strategic mindset. 


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are the specific duties and responsibilities of the HR Director:

  • Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations  

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations related to local employment compliances.  

  • Champion in creating and embedding a culture that is committed to coaching, mentoring, and supporting employees while championing diversity, inclusion, equality, and well-being throughout FTO’s global organization. 

  • Direct the development and implementation of development programs, employee orientation and training programs, benefits plans, policies and guidelines, database management procedures, equal opportunity employment programs, and employee records and documentation policies.  

  • Evaluating effectiveness through compiling and analyzing data of HR metrics to ensure needs are met.  

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.  

  • Provide professional leadership and collaborate with other department managers to plan and deliver employee training programs, give employees feedback, ensure compliance with labor laws, and facilitate performance management.  

  • Develops and implements departmental budget.  

  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.  

  • Oversees the long-term hiring strategies and employee relations with all the other departments  

  • Promote inspirational leadership by demonstrating the company’s values and championing the leadership behavior framework. 

  

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar relevant field  

  • At least 10 years of human resource management experience including at least 5 years managerial or higher experience 

  • Experience of working in a dynamic and changing workplace environment preferably in a global BPO set-up is an advantage  

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills  

  • Outstanding communication with good command in English language both written and spoken and must possess strong interpersonal abilities  

  • In-depth knowledge of Human Resource operations and legal regulations  

  • Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to achieve results 

  • Ability and preparedness to work flexibly  

  • Experience handling SAP Success Factor HRIS software is a plus
