Job Description

  • End to End payroll processing of manager and rank and file employees 

  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in the Payroll System 

  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, job title and department/division transfers. 

  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and taxable and       nontaxable wages.  

  • Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee’s income and statutory benefits  

  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information on a timely manner 

  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.  

  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.  

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.  

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.  

  • Process SSS, PHIC and HDMF remittances on or before deadline  

  • Process Employee’s Benefits such as SSS Loan, Sickness, Maternity and HDMF Loan  

  • Prepares Alpha List and Income tax return (form 2316) every year end and annualization of tax on compensation  

  • Prepares Tax on Compensation Report (1601 C) on a monthly basis  

  • Prepares Final Pay Computation and applicable documents for resigned employees  

  • Conducts New Hire Orientation  


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Human Resources or a similar field. 

    • With 2 to 3 years end-to-end payroll processing experience. 

    • Advanced Mathematical skills and strong attention to detail. 

    • Proficient with payroll software including Quickbooks and Sprout Payroll 

    • Familiarity with accounting software and procedures. 

    • Proficient with Microsoft excel or spreadsheet. 

    • Ability to handle confidential information. 

    • Familiarity with labor laws and taxation. 

    • Knowledge on Basic Accounting Principles 

    • Ability to investigate issues and find solutions 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
